How could it be negative? If the stick picks up some HCG then a blood test definitely should.... The only explanation I can think of is that the stick was bad. I thought false positives were rare. Now I feel like I cried wolf. :(
I guess I don't have to worry about telling any secrets just yet.

That does seem odd. I would've thought a positive, no matter how faint, is a positive. I've taken duds before, but they usually come out neutral (no positive or negative).
